Nguyễn Trần Hoàng Long — backend engineer writing C#, Rust and JS. I reverse-engineer apps, dig into security, and run the servers (and local AI) for a university.

“If I can't take it apart, I don't trust it.”
Born 16 October 2003. Backend developer: C#/.NET at work, Rust and JavaScript for everything else. My favourite hobby is reverse-engineering apps and finding out how they break, which is how I ended up porting Zalo to Linux. I also run the servers (and the local AI) a university depends on. Off the keyboard it's music, movies and the occasional Rubik's cube.

A real-time radar for Binance P2P. Sweeps 400+ ads in under 1.5 seconds and pings Telegram with a one-tap button into the order.

A starter for Telegram bots on Cloudflare Workers backed by MongoDB. Zero servers to babysit, one command to deploy.

An AI Telegram bot that decides what you eat today. Moved off Cloudflare Workers once 80ms of CPU time stopped being enough.
05/ 062024
A small module that lets Cloudflare Workers talk to MongoDB, where the official driver simply refuses to run.

Software Center, Nam Can Tho University
I build and operate internal systems for a university: the portals students and staff use every day, and the infrastructure behind them. Details and source stay inside the organization; this is a reference, not a link.

Set up and run the on-prem inference platform the whole center shares: a chat LLM on dual-GPU vLLM, CPU-served embedding and reranking for Vietnamese RAG, document OCR and speech, a chat UI, all exposed through a secure tunnel. One API, many projects.
Student and staff portal: web PWA plus native Android (Compose) and iOS (SwiftUI).
React · Kotlin · SwiftUI
Online admissions: registration, review, and payment flow end to end.
React · CodeIgniter · Docker
Education-management suite for staff and registrars, shipped as a desktop app over a C# API.
Tauri · React · C#
Self-hosted Canvas with SSO, a lightweight institutional theme, and video tracking.
Ruby · SSO · MinIO
REST backend for RAG, document extraction, and ticket assist over the local models.
FastAPI · Python
An interactive 3D campus on the web, compressed and tuned to stay smooth.
WebGL · glTF
A microservice foundation: API gateway, identity, notifications, event bus, observability.

Can Tho University of Technology & Engineering
Four years of software engineering; graduated 2025.
DNC Software Center, Nam Can Tho University
NextGen Vietnam JSC — Dai Viet Group
Stood up the local inference stack, shipped native My DNC apps, and ported Zalo's native modules to Linux on the side.
Started building internal systems at Nam Can Tho University: the student portal, admissions, and course registration.
Servers on Cloudflare Workers, Telegram bots on MongoDB, and a driver bridge so the two could talk.
NFC Keeper on Android, a CTUT course-review extension, a shared streaming site, and a working Hackintosh.
A Discord bot, a translator and a calculator I proudly labelled useless. All Python.
